Description
Cacioricotta al Vino Negroamaro is a unique traditional cheese from Puglia, made with a blend of cow, goat and sheep milk. This cheese combines characteristics of ricotta and aged cheese, obtained through the coagulation of milk with rennet and heat. After coagulation, the curd is drained, salted, pressed into molds and then immersed in Negroamaro wine.
The process of immersion in wine gives Cacioricotta a distinctive, rich and slightly fruity flavor, unique in its kind. It can be enjoyed fresh, when it offers a soft texture and a delicate flavor, or aged for several months, developing a firmer texture and a more intense and complex flavor.
Cacioricotta al Vino Negroamaro is extremely versatile in the kitchen. It can be grated over pasta, enriching the dish with its milky, acidic, salty and wine-infused notes, or used in salads to add a touch of sophisticated flavor. It is also excellent enjoyed on its own, allowing you to fully appreciate its unique combination of flavors.
This cheese represents an excellence of the Apulian dairy tradition, the result of artisanal production methods that guarantee an authentic and high-quality product. Cacioricotta al Vino Negroamaro is a testimony to the rich gastronomic heritage of Puglia, capable of enhancing any dish with its distinctive character and unmistakable flavor.
